And Gavin’s Bar Mitzvah at the Manayunk Brewing Company was the perfect example of that.
For Gavin’s celebration, every detail of the night reflected his love of sports. All Around Entertainment provided an incredible DJ setup complete with a lit dance stage, two giant TV screens, motivational dancers hype’ing the entire night… and that set the tone for a high energy Mitzvah experience. The moment families and teens stepped into the party space, you could feel this wasn’t going to be a calm, formal type of night. This was a celebration built for movement… and built for fun.
Our “GSPN” Photo Booth Experience
For our part of the evening, Armani Entertainment provided the photo booth experience, but not just a standard backdrop and print setup. We designed and printed a full custom ESPN inspired step and repeat backdrop, but instead of ESPN… we changed it to match Gavin’s first initial and turned it into GSPN. Little details like this make a massive emotional difference at Mitzvahs. Kids instantly “get it.” They identify with the theme faster. They go all-in.
We also brought sports themed prop signs as well as Mitzvah themed signs so the photo experience matched the room’s story start to finish.
And because Manayunk Brewing Company has a unique long layout, with the bar area on one side and party space in the other, having a photo booth that ran efficiently was extremely important. Guests move around more at this venue. They bounce between rooms. Energy moves.
So to help keep the booth line moving fast, we brought a dedicated sharing station that was separate from the booth itself. This allowed guests to walk up, quickly find their photo, and text it directly to themselves without holding up the booth line. The result? More photos taken, shorter wait times, smoother guest flow, and more memories printed, especially for a Mitzvah crowd where friends want to jump back in the booth again and again.
And yes, we printed the photos right there on site, so everyone went home with physical memories they could actually hold.
